|Profile||ISHINHA began performing in 1970 in Osaka, with Mr. Yukichi Matsumoto at its center. The total number of members is around 50, and they build huge outdoor theaters by themselves, which are completely demolished after their performance ends, leaving nothing behind, which shows a strong attachment to the fictitious characteristics. They are often invited for performances overseas. The group is often billed as the “theater group of one time performances” that can only be staged outdoors. During performances, spaces for serving food, selling goods and live stages called “Yataimura (Stall Village)” are placed to create an “illusion city”, giving the entire theater a festive atmosphere. They attract large audiences.|
